WILCO'S REVENGE

NPR's first listen series currently features Wilco (The Album). It's the Chicago band's seventh studio effort and a healthy slice of that old time rock and roll. Head on over there and you can stream the new record in it's entirety.



For this latest record, Wilco banged out a more robust bunch of songs after Sky Blue Sky's mellower Sunday-morning vibes. Bottom line: Tweedy and co. seem to care less about making "important" music, and more about just having a good time doing what they do. The hilarious album cover says it all.
